INDIBA
What is INDIBA?
It is a therapy that I use during most of my sessions. It is a type of radio frequency that uses the frequency of 448 KHZ. It is the only diathermy that uses this specific frequency, which has been seen to have different properties from the rest.
What benefits does this have?
It has subthermal effects, which would be useful for acute injuries or post-surgical cases; and thermal effects, in which by increasing the temperature of the area that we are treating, we will obtain its benefits: vasodilation, increases oxygen in the area, boosts healing, decrease inflammation, etc.
¿Which cases can we treat with INDIBA?
Animals with osteoarthritis, post-surgical cases, tendinopathies, ligament injuries, contractures, trigger points, muscle pain, athletes, back pain, ACL injuries, etc.
And what do I like most about INDIBA and what makes it different from other electrotherapies?
That it is a closed circuit, between the plate and the handle, and everything in between will benefit from these effects. That is, it allows us to reach deep structures that would otherwise be inaccessible. An example of this could be the sacroiliac joint in horses or spondylosis in dogs.
